Winterblast 19: Light Up The Night

Get ready for a fabulous time at Winter Blast 19 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, February 14-17, 2008.

This year, for the first time, all the way from Manchester, Michigan we have Aaron Enzer of ACE Pyro providing Saturday night's Public Display.

As usual, we are looking for interested pyros, groups of pyros and companies to put on their own shows and demos for our entertainment. Interested parties should contact Kief Adler at 818-383-7755 or kief@sbcglobal.net as he is our resident Demo Chair once again. If there is any interest in having a member's shell building showcase contact Kief for this as well so we can put it in the schedule.

We are looking forward to another great year of seminars. Once again, Richard Haase will be teaching the proper and safe techniques of building aerial shells in “Shell building 101.” If you have ideas for a seminar you'd like to see, or are interested in giving a seminar, contact your Winter Blast chairman, Lynden King at skyking@elkgrove.net or 916-686-5054.

We are working on having the Trade Show moved to Sara Park so everyone will finally be at one location. We invite everyone to come out and check out the great products offered by our vendors.

You can purchase "B" product under the club's ATF license. There will be a list of vendors with price lists up on the WPA website soon. Find your favorite vendor, go to their web site to check out their products and get your orders in. There will be no one on site selling "B" product, it will be presales only. We are working on enlarging the "B" firing area with more equipment so we can keep the sky full of fireworks.

The fun doesn't stop when the festivities at Sara Park shut down, either. Don't miss this year's Afterglow parties, they'll be better than ever. Don't pass on the FREE beer, soda and snacks, all beginning at 10pm each night.
