DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on workshop\, participants will build 6” round
  double petal chrysanthemum shells. Using the traditional Japanese method
 \, the inner petal will be formed with only black powder-coated rice hull
 s and tissue paper. It is expected that participants have some shell-buil
 ding experience beforehand. The 5” Ball Shell workshop\, for instance\,
  would provide an excellent background.\n\nThis workshop is being offered
  twice at Western WinterBlast 2026\, in two groups of 10 each. This is Gr
 oup 1. Participants need to also attend the Lift and Leader Workshop on F
 riday to complete their shells.
