Ever wonder what really happens before the first shell lights up the sky? Step behind the barricade, where we will introduce you to the professional display side of pyrotechnics. You’ll get insight into every spark of the process: operator and crew responsibilities, show site layout, equipment setup, wiring and firing systems, and the critical (but always exciting) world of safety and pyrotechnic handling. You’ll get up close with the gear that makes the magic happen—racks, cue sheets, mortars, modules, and more—with real props to handle and explore. This seminar is geared towards those new to the field or have only churned on the hobbyist side and are curious how professionals turn empty lots into launch pads and hard work into moments of wonder. Come ready to learn, laugh, and make some new friends!
