Christmas crackers are a holiday favorite novelty in the UK and Commonwealth countries. Christmas crackers were invented in the 1840s and have been a tradition since. I prefer to call them celebration crackers as these little devices are easy to make for many occasions such as birthdays, sports parties, etc.

In this workshop we will go over how to make Christmas crackers, some of the history behind them and ideas about contents. This is a great class for all ages and while it uses a pull string pyrotechnic device, it is more of an arts and crafts project that is fun and easy to make.
