# Sponsored Guest Policy

Overview of expectations of member's guests at WPA events

## Details

1. Members may sponsor up to 3 Guests (up to 5 Guests per agreement with the Registration Chair).
   1. Must be attending the same event as the Sponsored Guest(s).
   2. Must be a member in good standing through the end of the event.
   3. Must be in control of all Sponsored Guests at all times; this means:
      1. Sponsored Guests may not roam the event grounds unattended.
      2. Must monitor Sponsored Guest when at the shooting lines.
      3. Must ensure all Sponsored Guests use the appropriate PPE on the shooting lines.
   4. Must follow the WPA policies for the purchase and use of regulated materials.
   5. Educates the Sponsored Guest on this policy.
2. A person (aged 18 and over) may be a Sponsored Guest that has never been a WPA member, and:
   1. Sponsored Guest can only be a Guest for each WPA event ONCE in their lifetime.
      1. Has not attended this WPA event as a previous Sponsored Guest.
   2. Is a Spouse or family member of another Sponsored Guest.
   3. Children under the age of 18 may be a Sponsored Guest, but pay the full Sponsored Guest registration fee.
   4. Must be sponsored by a WPA member in good standing, that is registered and attending the same event.
   5. Must pay the Sponsored Guest registration fee for each Sponsored Guest
   6. Cannot roam the event grounds unless in the presence of Sponsoree.
   7. Cannot go to the shooting lines unless accompanied by the Sponsoree.
   8. Must use the appropriate PPE when on the shooting lines.
   9. Will not be issued a member number.
   10. May attend the annual business meeting, but cannot vote.
3. All other WPA Rules and Policies still apply to all Sponsored Guests.
