Western Pyrotechnic Association (WPA) emerged in 1989, fueled by the fiery passion of a group of enthusiasts who recognized the need for a long-awaited west coast organization. Inspired by the camaraderie found in esteemed pyrotechnic groups like the PGI, we envisioned a tight-knit network of kindred spirits, where the love for fireworks could be nurtured and celebrated.
