The Western Pyrotechnic Association is a club of builders, display operators and families who love fireworks, and who learn and shoot together at Western WinterBlast® and DO-IT.
Our Story
A West Coast club, now worldwide
The WPA was founded in 1989 by a few pyrotechnic enthusiasts who decided a West Coast organization was long overdue. In the spirit of the PGI and other pyrotechnic organizations, they wanted a network of close friends to share a love of pyrotechnics and to hold events that were both entertaining and educational. It has grown every year since, and now has members from around the world.
