About the WPA
Accessibility
The WPA wants everyone to use this website, its events information and its email.
What We Aim For
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We test against them with automated checks and by hand, and we fix what we find. This statement was last reviewed on November 8, 2026.
Known Gaps
- Some PDFs, such as the printable program, the blog and newsletter PDFs, and the paper registration and membership forms, are still being tagged for screen readers. Each has a web version with the same content.
- Some photographs and sponsor artwork do not yet have a written description.
- Some recorded Tech Talks and videos do not yet have captions or a transcript.
We will send any document in an accessible format if you ask.
