Back in the days when MgAl was just a gleam in the parlon star makers eye Dave Johnson was fooling around with magnesium based jetting stars with some 9/16" tubes he had lying around.
In case you were wondering what to do with that Mg you inherited from pyros who passed on without resorting to dichromate treatment this is a good way to go. The paper was recovered from the archives and appears in a couple places like it might have been written by Syd Barret from the psychedelic detox ward. You'll see what I mean, its mostly legible.
