Many shooters start their career by manually lighting each device in their display. As skills improve, so do thoughts of producing more complex displays that require the use of electrical firing systems. This class will discuss the differences in laying out a hand-lit show versus an electrically fired show and discuss many of the elements a shooter must consider in designing and firing the show. Topics will include:
• Efficient layouts for electrical shows
• The basic types of firing systems currently available
• The physics of the e-match. “How many can I fire at once?”
• Electrical firing safety
• If time permits, basic choreography will be discussed
